Online Fax Solution Benefits and Costs

Thursday, August 14th, 2008

Do you make your living working from home? If so I have some great news for you that could help to improve your productivity as well as reduce the cost of running your business.

Imagine for a minute that you are a freelance writer or journalist. You recently started working with a new client who is adamant about receiving your articles via fax. In the past you have always sent articles to your client(s) via email attachment. Now you have two options to resolve this issue.
Your first option is to purchase a fax machine you can use from home. A desktop fax machine can cost you anywhere from $70.00 to $150.00 or more. This option will also include other fax machine expenses; such as toner and/or paper.
Your second option is to setup an online faxing service. By using an internet faxing service you are able to use your e-mail to send and/or receive faxes. The use of an online fax service will allow you to send a fax by e-mail from any location with an internet connection.

When you use a desktop fax machine you spend valuable time waiting for your fax to transmit. Aside from using up time to send and receive faxes via a fax machine you will be spending extra money on faxing by purchasing fax machine supplies.

There are several companies that offer internet faxing services. The cost for using an e-mail fax service varies depending on the fax service provider you choose to use. In general companies may charge between $7.00 and $10.00 a month (or more) for their service. It is possible to save even more money by finding a provider that gives you the option to pay annually instead of monthly. Some online fax providers may charge an activation fee, while others provide a free trial period. The use of international faxing may also require an extra charge. With an online faxing service monthly and annual costs cover a specified number of sent and/or received faxes. This number may vary depending on the faxing service. Online faxing is the cost-effective way to manage your faxing needs. One of the main benefits of faxing by e-mail is that it is a paperless fax method and in that respect alone saves you money. Another benefit is the ability to choose the fax number that suits your needs. Internet fax providers generally offer the option of giving you a local number or a toll free fax number. There are even some fax service providers who offer the option of obtaining an international fax number. In a small business setting the use of an online faxing service eliminates the need for a fax server.
When choosing an online fax provider it is important to research the costs and features offered by the company in order to find the provider that suits your specific needs.

Concrete Furniture - an Opulent Embellishment

Thursday, August 14th, 2008

Everyone loves to take care of their own possessions. Gardens are no exception. This calls for the utilization of fancy items like statues, fountains, etc. In the present age of enhanced innovation and progress in science, we get many such items. Man’s ingenuity has no limits, not even the sky. Also, the demand has surmounted in the present times leading to the phenomenal growth of such industries. The statues are an expression of art. So, while strolling in the park or enjoying a lovely evening in concrete benches, the concrete statues also serve as a means of rejuvenating one’s anguished soul.

There are also several other concrete products, such as concrete furniture. A recycle bin is much more than a place for dumping unnecessary stuff; it is also an expression of art. Recycle bins come in various shapes and styles with pictures engraved on them. The outdoor seating includes concrete benches as parks without benches or recycle bins are unimaginable. Another thing of equal prominence is the concrete planters. While the concrete benches provide seating, the concrete planters provide the necessary protection for plants. This helps in protecting one of the most eminent parts of a park since parks without trees are comparable to a pizza without cheese.

The epoch of wood or metal has been replaced with beautiful concrete benches or tables and is associated with recycling bins. The concrete benches are available in various colors ranging from the classic grey to a nice tan terrazzo finish. Polished concrete benches are smooth and inviting. Creating a lovely outdoor area with concrete benches, concrete furniture and concrete planters makes outdoor seating a place of prominence. The concrete benches should be a well designed one as these concrete benches cannot be altered often. This gives a special enhancement to the entire surrounding - including the home. People who show concern in fixing concrete benches, concrete site furnishings such as planters, concrete statues and fountains are sure to exhibit their responsibility on this planet by selecting concrete recycling bins. The concrete recycling bins can be smaller in size also. The concrete recycling bins are one of the good features as they are spacious and make it quite impervious to strong winds.

Fixing the outdoor seating with concrete benches and recycling bins gives an elegant look to the house and highlights their opulence. The concrete benches as well as recycling bins are cost effective. This is considered cost effective as these concrete benches or the recycling bins need not be replaced several times like other furnishings made of wood or metal. This increases the value of the house as well. Anything is judged by the outer appearance, similarly when the outer area of your house is well maintained with
concrete benches and recycling bins, planters, concrete statues and fountains, it gives a perfect idea of the insight of the house. The outlook of the house itself increases the value of the house often more than expected as anyone buying it can comprehend the value invested on concrete benches and recycling bins.

A garden with outdoor seating looks majestic when adorned with concrete benches and recycling bins expresses your concern about the beautiful planet, earth. When the concrete bench and the recycling bin merge with the other garden accessories such as planters, statues and other beautiful concrete furniture, then this creates quite a heavenly abode.

There has been a revolution in Communications

Thursday, August 14th, 2008

I still remember the fairy tales my grandmother used to tell. My childhood memories are full of princes, princesses, fairies and goblins that frequented those stories. And what a social being she was. She loved to be amongst people and interacted with those staying far through letters since she could not meet them often. And her persistent grouse was the time these letters took to cover the distances which lay between the sender and the receiver.

She passed away in 1983 much before the internet revolution shook the world. I am absolutely sure she would have been enormously impressed to know it is now possible for hundreds of people staying in all corners of the world to join in a meeting without moving out of their homes through web conferencing and emails take just a few minutes to reach the receiver even if the sender was thousands of miles away. So, I thought she would be very happy if I send her an email describing how communications take place in 2007.

My dear Grandma,

This is possibly the first email you are receiving (it is an electronic mail that travels through internet to all personal computers across the world!). I receive on an average 20 emails every day and most of them are sent by online marketing companies promoting their products. Just recall how much time it took your party invitations to reach your friends. We now can avail of audio conferencing to convey a message simultaneously to a large number of people and get their feedbacks instantly. If you only had this facility it would have spared you so many tension filled moments!

It was a really hectic last week! I was present in a conference attended by 500 delegates who were literally from all the five continents. But you know what? None of them moved out of their homes and yet were active delegates in that international meet. No, no, I am not telling you one of your fairy tales. There was no magic in it. It could be possible through web conference, a facility which world wide web provides anybody who has a computer, web camera and of course a broadband internet connection.

Anybody who has these elementary facilities can get in touch with his friends and associates and hold meeting in real time. Though it might not be proper to discuss economics with you, but I can’t wait to point out how much profitable this has become for the multinational companies in the form of slashed travelling bills.

Do you remember those rainy days when you were forced to stay indoors and missed out on the local gossip. How balefully you scouted the skies for that elusive ray of sunlight! If you were here now, you wouldn’t have missed out even on the smallest story through conference calls, a facility which allows the host to talk to several guests simultaneously over telephone. These days many multinational companies exclusively rely on this mode to hold meetings with its executives spread out in factories and sales centres all across the globe. And these intercontinental calls come at a fraction of the price which you had to shell out those days.

Grandma, sure you’d have liked to live in such a well connected world!

GPS Tracking Devices

Thursday, August 14th, 2008

The ever growing popularity of gps tracking devices is universal. As a parent, I can think of many reasons why I would love to have a GPS system in my car or in my childs cell phone. I have to admit after watching the News, I wouldn’t mind one around my child’s ankle either. I wouldn’t really go that far, but this new technology has unbelievable possibilities. Possibilities in your business or home life that can save time, money, and unnecessary worry.
Personal tracking is one use of gps tracking. If you have a teen driver, you probably know that auto accidents are the number one cause of deaths among teens in the age group of 16-20. Tracking your teen may seem invasive, but this is a time in their life that they are learning the responsibilities and testing the boundaries. When your child began riding his bike, you did not let him loose in the neighborhood at first. When you saw he was looking both way for cars, and riding carefully, then you set him free to ride with out your watchful eye. It is wise to consider tracking your teen as it produces accountability. They know mom and dad will know if they are speeding, or going in areas that are off limits. It also gives them an excuse of not giving into peer pressure to drive irresponsibly.
Personal tracking can also be used to catch cheating spouse, or look out for the eldery drivers in your family. It can help you locate vehicles, and will notify you if there has been an accident.
Gps tracking systems can also help you save money and time in your business. If you have a fleet of vehicles, you can use this system to help manage your fleet. The benefits would include increasing driver responsibility, validating service calls, and provides more accurate billing by calculating time and fuel costs. Using a tracking system can also alert you when a driver is going outside his designated area, or is staying in one place too long.
When choosing the right GPS tracking device, make sure you shop around. It is important to have reliable and user friendly hardware. This is a system that should be helpful not confusing and difficult to work with. Shop around to find a company that provides customer and tech support. The average person will not be able to fix a GPS device problem. Perhaps its time to join the GPS craze, I think you’ll appreciate the extra protection for you and your family.
